My main interests lie in digital media, music, and the interrelation between humans and new technologies. I believe that it is imperative for all citizens of the 21st century to fundamentally rethink what it means to advance as a society, and to understand the extent to which we collectively blur the line between real life happenings and virtual fragments.
I primarily use digital image processing software and other experimental tools to illustrate my own experiences living within a technology-dependent world. Through iterations of raster illustration and digital collage, as well as years of experience in architecture, music composition, and graphic design, I realize my own interpretation of the multimedia era that we live in and explore the processes of a hyper-digital world.
The culmination of this body of work (see below) was a collection of digital illustrations presented at an art exhibit in April of 2024 that was installed by RPI students in a collaborative art studio in downtown Troy, New York, to complete their thesis project.
